SAFER Act Passes The Senate!

The SAFER Act has passed the Senate! I’m ecstatic that the Senate has stood firm to protect Mississippi’s girls and women.

I thank the Senators for making this courageous vote. And I’m especially grateful for the work of Senators Josh Harkins, Jeremy England, and Brice Wiggins in seeing this bill through the process.

Senate Bill 2753 will:

  • Protect the safety and privacy of Mississippi’s girls and women,
  • Define a woman and man from birth, and
  • Provide a cause of action for any violation of the Act.

So many people have worked hard to get us here, and I thank you! But we are not finished yet. The bill will soon head to the House.

Your Representatives need to know they have your support. Can you make one more call or send one more email?
