Reclaiming our Institutions

Our cultural decline was not a natural process that started in the home. Cultural declines are not born; they are made. They are made top-down, through institutions.
For decades, post-modern liberals leveraged their institutional advantages to undermine our values. Post-modern liberals didn’t corrupt our culture by teaching their kids to be leftists. They did it by teaching your kids to be leftists.
This philosophy corrupted our graduate and professional schools with “deconstruction” and “critical theory.” From there it spread to our schools of education, journalism, business management, and human resources programs. The disciples of the new creed then spread to the classroom, the courts, the media, the HR departments, and the financial sector.
This top-down attack decapitated the command-and-control centers of our culture. Almost every cultural and governmental aspect of our nation has been fully captured.
To save our culture, we must reclaim the institutions where culture is made.
The best way to defeat a bad idea is with a better idea. But it is folly to believe this will happen purely through free exchange of ideas at the individual level. Only by reversing the tide in the institutions can we reverse the tide in the culture.
We must courageously, without wavering, call our institutions back to their original purpose: preserving and perpetuating the enduring values of our civilization. Do this and we can redeem our culture.
