Our Values
Mississippi Advocacy Group exists to equip, educate and mobilize conservative policymakers and activists to take back the culture by recapturing the civic institutions that drive cultural change.
Education
American civilization is not perfect, but it is good. Our civilization is rich with truth, meaning and beauty. Our schools have an obligation to pass on that cultural legacy to the next generation. They should not be used as indoctrination centers dedicated to undermining the values parents teach our children at home.
Law
Our civilization historically regarded law as the conscience of the community, protecting rights and enforcing obligations rooted in natural law before which all citizens are equal. That vision of the law must be restored to our law schools, bar associations and courts. Law must not be used as an instrument to achieve the goals of identity politics.
Media
Our news media’s proper mission is evenhanded reporting of facts, not leftist political action in disguise.
Medicine
The mission of the medical profession and our health care institutions is to restore patients to objectively normal function, rooted in objective biological reality. That vision must be restored to our health care institutions.
Business and Finance
The mission of business and the finance sector that supports it is to meet our material needs and generate a profit. Our corporate and finance sectors must not be used as vehicles to achieve the woke agenda that is hostile to our free enterprise system.
Military and Law Enforcement
The mission of our military establishment is to fight our wars. Law enforcement’s mission is to keep us safe on our streets and in our homes. They should not be used to undermine our civilization as instruments of social engineering or to persecute political opponents.
Immigration
To be an American citizen means being loyal to American values. We are more than just a random collection of people who happen to share the same real estate. Our immigration enforcement courts and INS must reflect that.
Technology
The mission of our technology sector is to drive innovation to grow our economy and enrich or lives, not to police our speech, pollute our culture with graphic sex and violence or cancel Americans with traditional values.
