Lesley Andress Davis was named Mississippi’s RNC Committeewoman in December of 2024 and was elected Vice-Chair of the Mississippi Republican Party in August of 2024.

Lesley serves as the Founder and President of Mississippi Advocacy Group, LLC, a public policy and governmental affairs firm which champions the renewal and strengthening of our cultural institutions. She has a 25-year record of advancing religious liberty, pro-life, and pro-woman/child/family policies in Maryland, Washington D.C., and Mississippi.

Lesley has worked on the successful passage of numerous key pieces of legislation including several pro-life bills, the Fairness Act, the bill that changed Mississippi’s state flag, the Pregnancy Resource Act, the Ban on Gender Transition Treatment for Minors, the Safe Haven Baby Box bill, adoption and foster care reforms, numerous election integrity bills and bills addressing human trafficking, and the bill requiring age verification for pornographic websites, to name a few.

She previously served as the Interim CEO and President of the Mississippi Center for Public Policy.

As a product of Lesley’s service in the Mississippi policy realm, she has received the following honors: Top 50 Most Influential Mississippians, a 2023 Rankin County Republican Woman Leader of the year, the MFRW Certificate of Recognition for legislative work, the first ever Superwoman Award from the MFRW Legislative Committee, and the sole national 2022 Delta Gamma Leadership Shield Award.

Lesley received her Juris Doctorate from The University of Baltimore School of Law, where she was President of the Christian Legal Society, Executive Director of the Republican Law Students, and Articles Editor for the Baltimore Law Forum Journal. She served as a law clerk to the Honorable Arlin M. Adams, United States Office of Independent Counsel in Washington D.C. (previously U.S. Court of Appeals judge for the Third Circuit and a candidate considered by three Presidents for nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court). Lesley was subsequently hired as an associate prosecuting attorney under Judge Adams, and she continued her career as a partner in a Baltimore law firm, where she focused on toxic tort and medical malpractice defense litigation.

She received her BA in political science from Mississippi State University, where she served as Executive Director of the College Republicans, President of the Pre-Law Society, Student Association Attorney General, and MSU Director for US Senator Trent Lott’s first senatorial campaign. She was a starting guard for the MSU Women’s Basketball team, in MSU’s Hall of Fame, and was elected MSU’s Sophomore Maid and Homecoming Queen.

Lesley has served on numerous ministry, legal, policy, and university boards. Her research and writing has been published across the state and in the Wall Street Journal.
