Thank you to these strong women leaders in MFRW who helped every step of the way.

Monday, February 27th, Governor Tate Reeves signed HB 1125 (REAP) into law. This is a huge victory for all of us in Mississippi. You made it possible with your consistent support and responses to action. Mississippi is making national news with this groundbreaking legislation. Minors in Mississippi are now protected from harmful cross-sex hormone treatment.

We thank Speaker Gunn, Governor Reeves, Representative Nick Bain, Representative Gene Newman, and Senator Joey Fillingane for championing this groundbreaking legislation.

The icing on the cake was surprise celebrity guest, Matt Walsh of The Daily Wire. Walsh kicked off major changes in protections of minors from trans ideology in state legislatures across the nation. We thank Alliance Defending Freedom for partnering with us in this battle.

I’m overwhelmed with gratitude that the concerned citizens and lawmakers of our state worked together to bring this bill into law. Thank you for standing for the children of Mississippi. May we continue to work together for our state.
